Gereaux's Path: Helping One Man Walk Again

Since we began 1-800-DRY-ME-OUT, we have talked about the fact that we not only restore buildings, we restore lives.  Recently, we got to do just that and help out a good friend who has a unique mission.  However, what he needs is much more than what we alone are able to provide.
Erick Gereaux is a young gentleman who lost use of his legs, triceps and hands after a horrific car accident in 2007.  After struggling for almost 5 years, Erick has decided he has his own project: he wants to walk again.  But he needs everyone’s help.

Since that tragic day in 2007, Erick has accomplished a lot.  Although he has not walked again, his enthusiasm, zest for life and determination have blown all of us at the water damage restoration company away.  He is an amazing person and we are now asking all of you out there to join us in Erick’s journey and help him walk again!

To be able to walk, Erick will need financial help to access the rehabilitation programs he will need to help realize his dream. With the help of a non-profit organization HelpHOPELive, he is working on raising the monies he needs to facilitate a complete rehabilitation.  We have donated to Erick’s progress and now ask all of you to donate whatever you might be able to.  Be it $5 or $100 or more.  Together, 1-800-DRY-ME-OUT is confident we can help Erick do what most of us take for granted every day: standing, being able to make our own food, driving and generally living independent lives self-sufficiently.
